Hello! I’m Donna Li Shan Yi, well actually my surname is LYE but my dad wrote my surname under han yu pin yin format. Anyway, yeah, my name’s Donna…and I’m a regular blogger. Thing you may want to know about me are as followed:

I love the language of English, and i hate the language of Chinese (maybe because i suck at it). I do not listen to Chinese music, I do not watch Chinese shows. I do not listen/watch Japanese, Korean, taiwanese, (list goes on) shows. I watch English ones and listen to English songs. I am not a fan of local artistes nor am I a fan of asian artistes. I suck in speaking chinese and I am worse in writing chinese. I suck beyond belief.

I am an ‘ARTS’ freak. I draw, I perform. I design, I play instruments. I enjoy almost every single art. I love music the most; since I grew up with music surrounding my ears. I’m currently studying Music and Drama. My father is my main inspiration for music; his guitar playing truly moves me. Next to my dad would be my music heroes; unusual, but it’s Simple Plan. It sounds like crap to some people. But hey, I like it. The piano is my source of happiness. The guitar is something I shall turn to as well once I start learning it.

I’m typical. So typical, that sometimes i cannot help but dream i was in the year 3000 (if Earth still exists) where technology may be so advanced that I probably don’t even need to go to school but get a microchip in my head, press some random button, and automatically get 97637362072 articles of knowledge into my brain. Sometimes I even wish I was in the medieval times, where sorcery, wizards, dragons and robin hood existed.

I am a ranter, and sometimes I can rant even if it’s close to the end of the world. I cannot pay attention to speakers who talk slowly and softly during lectures. Sometimes I even doze of slowly and get woken up by a sudden loud part of the speech. It happens. I however, am a listening ear to my friends and will do anything to make my friends feel better.

I have a gene called ‘Sarcasm’. It runs in my family. I’m the sarcastic one in my clique. I’m also the source of humor and lameness to cheer people up. Sometimes my highness makes me so straightforward, that I say things that I don’t really mean.

I can be straightforward as stated above. I also get high if I eat too much candy.

I’m a writer. I write and write and write. I can blog everyday if I’m in the mood for it. I’ve recently started to write again after a year. I’m probably going to aim for mass communications in the media.

I have two boyfriends. They are called ‘COMPUTER’ and ‘TELEVISION’. COMPUTER has been my boyfriend since I learned of such a thing. TELEVISION has been my boyfriend since daddy brought home a strange machine and placed it on a table, plugged in wires, and used a thing called the REMOTE.

I can be very weird sometimes. Like, super weird. Like what you just saw above this paragraph. That was weird. And I am, sometimes. Though some of my friends will be saying I’m ALWAYS weird. Well, I love you too, guys.

I LOVE MTV. Well, some of the shows. I LOVE HEROES. ohyes, HIRO NAKAMURA! is my absolute favorite. Like dude! YOU FREEZE TIME. YOU JUMP THROUGH TIME. YOU HAVE SUCH A CUTE JAPANESE ACCENT. AND YOU’RE 83972615 YEARS OLDER THAN ME. I’m kidding about the last sentence.
